SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS |
The Department reserves the option to modify the selected consultant’s agreement to include any necessary engineering and/or related services for this project. If requested, the firm(s) must then be prequalified in the appropriate area(s).

| SCOPE | Five consultants will be selected (1,2,3,4&5). The consultant ranked #1 will have first pick of the five packages, the consultant ranked #2 will have choice of the remaining four packages, and so on until all packages are taken. Consultant must be prepared to make selection at the time of notification of ranking by the selection committee. Inspection packages are randomly listed and do not necessarily reflect the order of importance or anticipated size of contract. |

| PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS | The firms must only be prequalified for the package they intend to select. They do not need to be prequalified for all packages and are to only select a package for which they have been prequalified. The bridge inspection packages requires prequalification in the area of Bridge Maintenance Services, In-depth Structure Inspection. The Preparation of Repair Plans Package (No.4) requires an additional prequalification for Structure Design - Spans Under 500'. The committee will not consider it an advantage to team up with other firms in order to prequalify for all packages.
